New Life Assembly wants to change the way people think about “church”. So often people are told they need to “get their act together”, but New Life Assembly is a place where, no matter where you’re coming from, you can belong. We will do our best to make everyone feel welcome, accepted, valued, and loved.
Our church is made up of people from all different walks of life. No matter your age, religious beliefs, history, family dynamic, or anything else, we are confident that New Life Assembly has something for you!
New Life Assembly is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
“Our vision is to be a growing family of disciples who are committed to God, committed to one another, and committed to reaching the world around us.”

Pastor Matt Erickson has been at New Life Assembly since June of 2008. He started as the part-time youth pastor, became the associate pastor in 2010, and in 2014 he took on the role of lead pastor.
Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Pastor Matt grew up attending church, but it wasn’t until one Sunday afternoon in February of 2002 that he truly accepted Christ and began to follow Him.
Upon graduating from high school, Pastor Matt began studying at Horizon College and Seminary, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Theology in 2008.
Pastor Matt is passionate about helping people turn from an apathetic, boring, and mediocre faith and find true faith and abundant life in Jesus Christ through the daily guiding of the Holy Spirit and regular times of prayer and Scripture reading.
In July of 2010, Pastor Matt married his beautiful wife Chantelle.
In June of 2015, Pastor Matt and Chantelle welcomed their first child, a beautiful girl named Avrielle!
